How to Make Perfumes - Eau De Parfum Concentration

It is now time to reveal how to make perfumes - Eau de Parfum Concentration. Most clients want this concentration because it lasts longer, about 8-12 hours, and it might last longer if the quality of fragrance oils used is good.

What is Eau de Parfum?
Eau de Parfum is a type of perfume which has the highest concentration of fragrance oils, usually 15%-30%.

These are the steps how to make perfumes- eau de parfum concentration (100ml yield)

1. Prepare all the materials needed:
  • 70 ml perfume grade alcohol
  • 20 ml fragrance oil, scent of your choice
  • 5 ml fixative
  • 5 ml purified water
2. Mix the alcohol and the fixative in the beaker. Mix thoroughly until the fixative is well combined with alcohol.

3. Add  the fragrance oils to the mixture. Stir well.

4. Add the purified water and continue stirring. Wait until the mixture becomes homogeneous.

5. Transfer the mixture in a clean container. Have the Eau de Parfum aged for 4-8 days.

6. Put the eau de parfum mixture to glass perfume bottles. You can purchase perfume bottles to Cavite Perfume (http://www.caviteperfume.com), Chemworld Fragrance (http://www.chemworld.ph), and Grasse Fragrance (http://www.grassefragrance.com).

Now that I have shared already how to make perfumes, eau de cologne, eau de toilette, and eau de parfum, what you should do next is to evaluate the potential of having a perfume business - including market potential, capital needed, and supply chain management.
